Madrid Open launches contest to find best Djokovic impersonator

Novak Djokovic is famous for imitating his fellow tennis players, but who is the best Djokovic imitator? That's what Mutua Madrid Open tried to find out, by launching a contest to find the best "Nole" imitator.

From dozens of contestants, only five finalists were chosen, in a decision made by visitors on the tournament facebook page, and a select jury from Mutua Madrileña. Last night, the world nº1 had the opportunity to watch all the impersonations on video, and couldn't avoid a chuckle. The player himself decided which video was the winner after he watched the five selected videos alongside the nominees.

The winner impressed Novak. "I think he’s a worthy winner. He deserves it. It’s amazing! I was very impressed with the video. I think he has a great potential to become a professional impersonator", said Djokovic to Madrid Open official website.

The five finalists had the chance to meet their idol and take photos with him in the Caja Mágica. The winner will only meet the Serbian star next friday and will receive two free tickets to the final.

Watch the official video from Madrid Open "One Day with Djokovic" (the narrator speaks in Spanish but you can watch Nole's reactions to the impersonations after minute 02:00).
