Tennis pros favorite off-court action in Paris

Maria Kirilenko had a special concern with her make-up during some of her matches, as a Brazilian newspaper pointed out. She even went to Sephora in Paris and got a make-up session for free. Maria is gorgeous and definitely doesn't need any make-up, but ladies love their eyeshadows and lipsticks.
John Isner and Rafa Nadal spent a few hours shopping in the city of lights. Isner went to visit his sponsor Lacoste. Rafa also had his birthday party with family and friends.

One thing is for sure, Vika Azarenka was eating well and probably had a long trip to the supermarket in order to fill up that fridge. :)

Flavia Pennetta went for a classic Eiffel Tower pic.

Shopping seems to be a favorite on tour. Svetlana Kuznetsova bought some Louboutin tennis shoes.

And tried the subway with Dimitrov and Wawrinka :)

Meanwhile, Serena Williams and Sara Errani find out on Twitter that they are both addicted to the game Candy Crush Saga, available on Facebook and mobile (Apple, iPad and Android). Here's a bit of their online chat:

Wimbledon Fashion Hits and Misses

Hits

Maria Kirilenko - Adidas
Gorgeous retro-vintage style white dress with emerald green stripes. Very feminine and flattering to Maria Kirilenko. Also worn by Sorana Cirstea.

Roger Federer - Nike
Just another day at the office for Roger Federer. This is how you do Wimbledon: Polo, classy shorts, all in white with a small hint of green.

 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga - Adidas
The French number 1 player was as classy as Fed in a white polo. Adidas opted for a neon red instead of the green and it was a good choice since it made the shirt and shorts look modern and hip.

Misses

Ana Ivanovic
The dress is beautiful if you see it from the front...but the back is not that flattering. What was Adidas thinking? The sports bra showing of like that doesn't look good. They should've come up with some kind of solution, maybe a bra with thinner straps and a different color...just sayin' :)

Team Novak
Here we go again! Why, oh why?...Can someone please tell us why Novak Djokovic's team and coach keep on wearing Sergio Tacchini? Why hasn't Uniqlo sent them some new caps? Update, people, this is all about update. :)

French Open 2012 Best Dressed and Fashion Disasters

Tennis action at Roland Garros is now a thing of the past, so it's time for us to talk about fashion and style! Who wore the most attractive tennis clothing? And what about the top fashion disasters? Take a look at our picks and then vote in our Best Dressed Poll at the end of this article.

Best Dressed

Victoria Azarenka - Nike

Vika's dress is lovely. We love the pastel colors and specially the pleated section of the dress, which makes it girly and cute. We love that she took a chance and chose a more feminine style although we were also big fans of her rebel-shorts-shirt look.

Roger Federer - Nike

The Swiss has style, we all know that. And once again he hasn't disappointed us. This look is sleek and elegant, as Roger himself, but it has kind of a rock-chic-rebel style going on too. The colors are top trend this summer: dark grey with some pops of neon yellow. Just perfect!

Venus Williams - EleVen

Venus Williams likes to design her own clothes and sometimes she gets carried away, as we've all seen in the past. Her latest collection for EleVen by Venus is minimalist and takes advantage of geometric lines to create movement. We love the cut of the dress, the sleeves, and how it accentuates her waist line. And, of course, the wise use of color.

Maria Kirilenko - Adidas

Color block is a huge trend since last year and it still rocks for 2012 Spring-Summer. This Adidas look fits perfectly with Maria Kirilenko's skin tone and body and stands out for the right reasons.

Novak Djokovic - UNIQLO

Recently, Novak slipt up with Sergio Tacchini. There were rumors he would join Nike or maybe Adidas. Nole's boldness is the reason why he makes this list: he didn't went for the obvious and signed with Japanese clothing line UNIQLO. For a debut, the Japanese brand did a great job: it maintained Serbia's flag color using just a few stripes over dark blue and white background, creating a classic and elegant look. But we still feel that World Nº1 deserves something more fashionable than the usual classic-minimalist style. Let's see what UNIQLO comes up with for the next major tournaments.

Fashion Disasters

Flop nº 1

Nike Summer  - Petra Kvitová, Li Na, Julia Goerges
We are sorry to say but Nike summer collection isn't flattering at all! Maybe the problem is the fabric or the purple color, but whatever it is, it is making beautiful women like Julia Goerges, Petra Kvitova and Li Na look chubby and clumsy.

Flop nº 2

Bethanie Mattek-Sands
Really???

Flop nº 3

Adidas by Stella McCartney  - Caroline Wozniacki
This outfit was a huge disappointment, considering the gorgeous dresses Stella McCartney has already designed for Caroline Wozniacki. The yellows clash against the red clay and it looks like the Danish is wearing two or three jerseys on top of each other. Not good at all!

Flop nº 4

Novak Djokovic's team and coach
Can someone explain us why Djokovic signed with UNIQLO just before Roland Garros, and his team and coach Marian Vajda keep on wearing Sergio Tacchini? In our perspective, this is a gigantic marketing flop for Novak :(

(You can get most of these looks at Tennis Warehouse. For Djokovic's UNIQLO gear you should go through Store Locator on the brand's website)
